Day 2 of our PADI scuba diving course in Pattaya… and the nerves are still very real. After a rough first day with high winds and choppy water, Kieran and I are back on the boat asking ourselves the same question: what the hell am I doing? This is Webby’s last day, and Kieran is desperate to complete his first ever scuba dive — but confidence is fragile, the ocean doesn’t care, and fear has a funny way of creeping back in at the worst moment. Will Kieran finally conquer his nerves and descend beneath the surface? Or will doubt win again before we even hit the water?
